Exactly.  Thank you S.Syder - good point. Shops sell things and things are, er, things we can do without. That's the sort of wisdom that comes from a mixture of a solid, Sussex seaside upbringing plus a certain worldliness that comes from overseas travel. Or are my instincts mistaken?
